D&AD 2015 Annual cover

Description

I have shared a studio space with the fantastic David Pearson and Alistair Hall for 7 years. It is a great, supportive and creative environment to work in. We often discuss projects and have worked together on a couple of projects over the years, and our most recent collaboration is the D&AD 2015 Annual cover. David was commissioned by the 2015 D&AD President Mark Bonner to design the cover, we discussed the project a lot in the studio and decided that we should work together on it. It was a really enjoyable project to work on as it involved numerous discussions about design, communication, detail, reduction, simplicity, Gestalt theory, form and material! I am really happy with the results, as are David & Alistair!
